Villa Ganz joins a select handful of remarkable stays—a guesthouse in Entebbe, a ryokan in Kyoto, a bed and breakfast in Quindío—that become part of the journey itself. The understated elegant intimacy of Villa Ganz, nurtured by Yvonne, Leo, Carlos, Rocío, Luis, Ana Carolina, and Marcos, helped make our four days in Guadalajara unforgettable. Our impeccably maintained room—with its comfortable bed and crisp, fine linens—was perfect for recharging before heading a few feet to the dining room for a leisurely breakfast, featuring perhaps the best eggs Benedict we’ve ever tasted. And though that’s saying a lot, Luis’s burrata, asparagus, and short ribs one evening deserve equal praise. Throughout our stay, the front desk team was consistently gracious, responsive, and generous with their local recommendations. If I were to list reasons to return to Guadalajara, Villa Ganz would be right at the top. Viva VG!

This property is Beautiful, it’s a beautiful home remodeled into a small quite quaint Hotel, rooms are beautiful the patio in and outdoors are beautiful, you feel like you are at home. Let me tell you about the staff “Absolutely Amazing!” Armando, Ivan, Carlos, Leo all of the staff including the ones I can’t remember their names were GREAT! Luis Sioux Chef, wonderful. The food at the Hotel restaurant was GREAT! They were all soooo sweet, every evening we came back they would take the time to ask about our day, where did you go, did you have fun? My Husband and I would go up to our room and rest a bit, then come downstairs sit in the covered patio enjoy the weather and drink the best Margaritas, Ivan Carlos and Luis would come and chat with us and we would enjoy their company and kindness. We were there for 6 nights and not once were we disappointed. We would definitely recommend this Beautiful Hotel and the Amazing Staff! Thank you to all of you at Villa Ganz for making us feel so welcomed. Muchas Gracias

This is a great little hotel in the heart of a really fun part of the city. Leo was great and helped me out with everything I needed. They even shipped items back to me in the states when I forgot them in the room. Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff.

It's an exceedingly beautiful space and very comfortable. We had a large, gorgeously decorated room that opened onto the beautiful patio. We love the staff, the breakfasts, the freshly-made margaritas in the evening. The Lebanese restaurant next door is excellent. The neighborhood is great for walking. My husband and I have stayed here twice. We highly, highly recommend it.

Charming & Comfortable in the Heart of Guadalajara

I absolutely loved my stay at Villa Ganz Boutique Hotel! Located in the vibrant Chapultepec area, the hotel is perfectly situated—safe, walkable, and surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. What makes this place even more special is its history: originally a 1930s mansion, it was beautifully renovated into what is now the first boutique hotel in all of Guadalajara. The French-inspired charm and timeless elegance can be felt throughout the property. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. We arrived early and were kindly allowed to check in ahead of time for a small fee. They even offered us coffee upon arrival—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for a warm and comfortable stay. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, with a super comfy bed and pillows. I especially loved the French doors, which we left open to enjoy the fresh breeze. The courtyard is stunning, with a peaceful ambiance and a beautiful on-site restaurant perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A couple of minor notes: the bathroom lighting was a bit dim, which made it tricky for makeup application, and the shower design caused some water to spill onto the bathroom floor. That said, these were small inconveniences compared to the overall charm, comfort, and hospitality we experienced. Villa Ganz is a true gem—and a perfect choice for anyone visiting Guadalajara who appreciates history, style, and exceptional service.

If I coule leave 10 stars for the cleaning and service(front desk) I would. Excellent front desk and daily cleaning service. The front desk gave us helpful suggestions for local places and even made cocktails upon request. Cleaning was fast and detailed.
