The Little Red Oyster House on St. Clements Bay is a 3 bedroom , 2 bathroom cottage that sleeps 6 guests. This picturesque, waterfront cottage is the perfect place for you and your family to unplug from the stresses of everyday life for a long weekend or extended stay. You will wake up to gorgeous sunrises, enjoy afternoon breezes and spend peaceful evenings by our cozy outdoor fire pit.
Guests can enjoy sweeping views of the bay and Potomac River from the fully furnished living room, dining room, kitchen and enclosed sunroom. The cottage has a brick patio with a table and a gas grill. A picnic table is set under a beautiful cherry tree for your crab feasts!
Extra outdoor furniture, kayaks, canoes and yard games are steps away in the shed for your enjoyment on and off the water.
The cottage boast a beautiful master bedroom with gorgeous waterfront views and an en suite bathroom with double sinks and a shower. The second bedroom (queen bed) and a third bedroom (twin trundle beds) share a second bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The open concept living area is perfect for lounging around, movie or game night. Our quaint kitchen and dining area are fully equipped for easy dining.
To satisfy your more adventurous side, you have direct access to the calm tidal waters to fish, collect sea glass or paddle to Newtowne Neck Park, St Clements Island or grab dinner and a drink at Morris Point Restaurant.

So peaceful!
We enjoyed out stay very much in February. It was so quiet and nice. Very very clean! Three generations of family came and loved. The sunroom with the view of the water was amazing and nice and toasty for our winter getaway. Thank you Diane and Harold for being so helpful, all the extra nice touches you added, and sharing your lovely cottage with us! We would love to visit again.

Beautiful and peaceful getaway
The property was beautiful and the location is peaceful, secluded, and relaxing. We loved the sun porch with a beautiful waterfront view of the bay. Perfect place for a quiet and relaxing stay while enjoying beautiful views and nature. We would definitely stay here again. House was spotless and lovely decor. Very comfortable and hosts provided lots of amenities and information about nearby restaurants and shops in town.

Delicious breezes and two river views
We wanted (needed) peace and quiet and got that and more. The owners are pros and the house was a perfect “red cottage by the river”. Oh, and the adolescent Ospreys in their nest being cared for by their two parents was the riveting attraction.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful. The home is perfectly organized, clean and so very well thought out. Diane and Harold have thought out everything you would want or need during your stay including lovely extra touches like fresh flowers and snacks. Friends Weekend
I spent the weekend here with my high school friends for our annual weekend to hang out and reconnect. The setting was perfect and we remarked that the house looked even better in person than in the pictures. Wonderful place for a low-key relaxing weekend. We used one of the kayaks, the fire pit, and caught some crabs off the pier. Definitely thinking of returning some time.

Perfect Get Away
We loved, beyond belief, your home! It exceeded our expectations. It was so clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and anything we needed was there. We were greeted with fresh flowers and a charcuterie board. Nice touch. This was my first time using Vrbo - we sure found a gem of a cottage! The property is beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed sitting outside looking at the water. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to use the canoe or kayaks that were made available to us. Maybe next time. Diane and Harold were fantastic hosts. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we extended our stay for an extra day. We will definitely recommend your property to anyone coming to this area.
