Country house Casa Zuras is named after the 'nuraghe' Zuras, located a few hundred meters away. A nuraghe is a pyramid-shaped structure that recalls the first inhabitants of the island and is 3,000 to 4,000 years old.
The house has a spacious living room with open kitchen, 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lovely veranda and a huge garden with a large swimming pool. Everything is fully private, you don't share the pool or garden with anyone else. Living room and all bedrooms have air conditioning and heating.
Our country house has a cottage-like appearance: everything is on one level, the walls are plastered, two chimneys, red classic roof tiles and all partly in the shade of a huge, centuries-old cork oak.
The fully private swimming pool (5 x 10 meters!) is located directly next to the house, offers complete privacy and is kept clean by the gardener.
The house has a very large garden of approximately 8,000 m2, so plenty of room to play, sit in the sun or shade, enjoy the approximately 15 different types of fruit trees in the orchard etc.
Numerous restaurants, supermarkets and shops can be found in the surrounding area. But also many historical remains from the time of the Nuragic people, the Phoenicians, Romans, Moors and Spaniards.
The nearest beach is around 35 km away.
Abbasanta is located in the quiet, unexplored center of Sardinia, far away from the bustle in the North. An additional advantage: this part of the island is certainly as beautiful as the North and the prices are much lower.
The three airports of Cagliari, Olbia and Alghero are all within 1 to 1.5 hours drive, easily via the highway. So you can always see where the tickets and car hire are the most favorable; in terms of driving time to the cottage that makes very little difference. Ideal!
Use of gas, barbecue, washing machine, books / cards, bed linen and towels is included.
In the house there is a guest folder with extensive information about the house, the environment, information about nature, culture, history, etc.

There is no wifi because the installation of a cable connection in central Sardinia is virtually impossible. However, there is good internet coverage and luckily roaming no longer costs money.
