With modern-day skyscrapers towering alongside 1,000-year-old temples giving praise to the moon and earth, Beijing hotels located in Dongcheng, the city’s epicenter, are at the heart of all there is to see and do in this dynamic slice of Asia. In the northeast section of the city especially, nighttime brings lots of foreigners out and about. Many of the best hotels in Beijing are situated around the Olympics complex leftover from the summer games in 2008, and a visit to the infamous Bird’s Nest, Laoshan Velodrome, or Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park should be on your itinerary.
