Used the hotel as a place to sleep, can't comment on food/service Bedroom was clean, modern and well stocked. Checked in at 7pm, check-out was at 10:30am - which was quite early for a hotel

What a lovely place to stay, friendly knowledgable staff, delicious food, great atmosphere, clean, comfy bed. Log fire burning, was fantastic would visit again. Great location too

Spent two nights here to do some walking around Thirlmere and visit our usual Lake District spots (Keswick, Ambleside...) Perfect location for getting out onto the bigger fells and plenty of good pub food to refuel. The burgers are a must! Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. I feel like we've discovered a gem of a pub in the heart of The Lakes. We'll be back again no doubt.
