I specifically requested a handicapped accessible room with a recliner. There was not one in the room upon arrival and I was told by the clerk there was none available. When I showed her my travelocity paperwork, she told me they were not responsible for their content. After my repeated insistence, suddenly she realized that this room was a "single bed and all single beds have recliners." They did have one in the room for the next night but you'd think we were the only ones to ever stay in the room or request one by their response. Thankfully, I had read the reviews before traveling so I knew to bring my own pan, cooking utensils and such or the nice kitchenette would have been a complete waste. I have multiple food allergies, so the ability to prepare my own food was great. The accessible shower isn't safe as water gets all over the floor and I would have fallen if I had been traveling alone. A simple shower curtain would take care of the problem.

Hello Robert, As per my personal message I sent to you back on August 15th. I informed you of the room type you booked. You never respond to my online message which is tracked through the 3rd party you booked and left your response. Our staff was able to move a recliner into the room per your request. Our staff was willing to assist in making your stay comfortable. I attached the conversation below: Hi! I asked for a handicapped accessible bathroom when I booked. The only thing I require is assist bars in the tub/shower. I am so thankful to have found a hotel with a recliner. Looking forward to our stay! Unfortunately, the rooms with the tub assist bars have been fully booked. We can move you to a room with 2 Queens beds with the tub assist. However, it will not have a recliner in the room. Our paid reservation was cancelled by the hotel and we were not notified until check-in. Had to call travelocity to help straighten out the situation. Then, one of the rooms’ beds was not made. Had to wait for the sheet to dry and had to make the bed ourselves because there were no maids on duty at our check-in.

A pkeasant surprise! Very clean and new. The bed was great...comfortable, clean smelling, and lots of pillows! Fullsized frig with stove and microwave. Great stay!
