The property is older and although the furnishings and bedding were very comfortable the room itself felt old. The outside was very pretty; the location is excellent. Very easy check in. Very polite receptionist. Was able to check in early which was wonderful.

The bathroom was very dark and it was difficult to see when you showered. There was a crack at the bottom of the door that let in cold air

I read many reviews before choosing the Tidewater Inn for our first stay in Cape Cod. The reviews said no frills, just a place to stay. I completely agree. It was clean and neat. When your on vacation you typically just want a shower and a comfy bed. This was exactly that for a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and the location was great. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely property. Right on Rt 28, but completely quiet! Kind of an old fashioned old Cape-style feel. Very clean. I would happily return!

The back of the property is beautiful. Sitting area near a small stream is perfect. Convenient location to most things we do. Didn't try the diner on the property so I can't comment on that but it is a nice feature. Has indoor and outdoor pool..but the weather was perfect for the beach so never went there. Looked very nice. However- Got a cold blast everytime someone turned on their shower, while taking a shower. Towels are extremely small and very low quality. We had an ant problem which I reported and will probably be fixed...it was just annoying. I didn't hate it. I think it just needs a little updating. Staff is very nice.
