Sometimes hotels in Venice over promise and underwhelm. Not the case here. There was a confident grace about everything and everyone here. Consistent warm salutations and pro-active offers to help make the stay pleasant - from breakfast options to luggage storage to the oversized bath towels and in-room coffee makers. It was all in service of a soft landing from a day full of the city’s hard surfaces and the frenetic ping ponging, u-turning and lost in their cell phones, fellow wanderers. I loved the quite neighborhood and the stillness of it all. I’d stay here again for sure. FYI: solo traveler here on casual business. I can’t speak to any other rooms besides the standard room w double bed (perfect comfy size) but I can attest that the couple next door thoroughly enjoyed their room as well ;-)
