The hotel was nice enough, and the staff (especially Agustin, the doorman) was very helpful. But the restaurant menu was limited, the hotel is far too far away from the city center for our liking - which might have been OK if there was anything else to do at the hotel, which there was not. We understand that most people who stay here do so because they're hikers, or other type of outdoorsy people, and they may not be in the room as often as we were. That was not an option for us due to an injury that my wife suffered while on our trip.
We had to find a place in a hurry since we had to stay over in Ushuaia due to my wife's medical condition, and our cruise line booked this place for us. We certainly would not have chosen it for ourselves, especially not for close to 300 USD per night. It's worth half that at best. The view of the harbor and the glacier was outstanding, but that's all this place has going for it. Taxis and Ubers are cheap, so you can get around if you need to.
