Requested to be on the same floor as my attorney who checked in the night before. Front desk manager Victoria said she need to personally go up to check which room is available. I said please if it’s not too much trouble. She left without return. About 20 min later another staff came over and helped me checked in on the floor I requested without going up. Strange how she did it but the manager couldn’t

The room had a broken shower chair in the entry, and drapes poorly hung when I arrived. This was delt with appropriately. The bar was to be open til 10pm. It wasn't. My room keys stopped working and it took 2 trips to the lobby to get it right. The selection of alcoholic beveriges was very small in the lobby retail area. I arrived on Tuesday and checked out on Saturday and my room was cleaned only once (Wed.). As a result I had no clean bath towel for Saturday morning. I called the desk and was provided with a blanket and 2 small towels, but no bath towel.

Customer Service was exceptional!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
After the first night of my 4 night stay at this particular Courtyard by Marriott, I was a bit disappointed regarding some minor inconveniences in my original room that did not meet my expectations. After bringing my concerns to the Marriott management, I would have the say that the staff went way beyond the extra mile to ensure that my comfort at their facility for the rest of my stay was exceptional. Rooms are very clean and the staff are both friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone staying in the Tyler, Texas area.
