Our stay here was absolutely nothing short of fantastic, the staff was awesome and very helpful. It was astoundingly clean at all times and so close to so much!!

Nice enough. Very good and cheep bakery downstairs, and good coffee available. We didn’t get the buffet breakfast as we’re not early risers but the bakery was more than adequate for a cheap late breakfast. The location was good. Lovely park across the road that creates a nice calming start to the day before the visual onslaught of Shinjuku! Subway and bus fairly close for visiting other areas of Tokyo. I thought it could have been more elegant feeling if the bathrooms had a nicer design, seems like a wasted opportunity when the rooms and dining areas are quite nice. Also, I fully support a minimal daily clean, I don’t need bedsheets changed constantly, but I accidentally spilled a coffee sachet on the floor in the morning and it would have been nice if the person who replaced the coffee bags, towels, etc could have run a vacuum over it while they were there… the front desk were very prompt in sending a vacuum up when requested though. Overall, a pretty good hotel if your expectations aren’t too high, but I’d probably go for something a little bit nicer next time.

It was a little to far from the center and also was right by where all the homeless live so felt unsafe to walk at night. We always had to get a taxi.

Even though Shinjuku is one of the busiest areas of Tokyo this western style hotel is in the quieter part near the government buildings and parks, it'l takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Shinjuku train station that can get you anywhere in the city. The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast options along with the bakery make it easy to build up your energy before a busy day exploring Tokyo. When I return to Tokyo I'll be going back to The Knot.

This is a "happening" place with a fabulous tapas restaurant and great bakery. Great location. You walk through a lovely park to get to the shops, restaurants and club in Shinjuku. You feel like you are in a tranquil neighborhood while being just a 1/2 miles from the action of Shinjuku. Staff helpful. Do not miss the 360 review in the cafe at the top of the nearby government tower.
