It's too bad the hotel was in such bad shape! We were looking forward to some rest and relaxation.
The Onsen main bath was closed due to maintenance so men and women had to take turns using the other bath.
Asking about nearby restaurants for dinner because hotel's dinner was only available with reservations, front desk clerk clearly told us there were only izakayas, bars, available nearby. There was a wonderful hotel restaurant around the corner for dinner that included access to the onset bath in their hotel for no extra charge!
The view from our room was a cement wall. Requested a non-smoking room, room stunk like smoke. Complained to the front desk, was told they don't have non-smoking rooms and handed us a spray!
Breakfast was nothing special...
Not going back there!

Great dinner included
Our room had twin beds and two futon beds for four people, both were hard by American standards. The breakfast was good but the Keiseki (Japanese seasonal dishes) was great which both were included with room cost. So it was a great deal, since dinner like this is very expensive in Japan.
This hotel is pretty run down and while its in a good location for Onsen and sightseeing, it's not very comfortable. Big room, decent breakfast, but a little pricey for what you get.
