Great breakfast and the staff in the dining area area always very helpful and friendly. The room could have been much cleaner. I had to wipe down several areas with disinfectant wipes. And there were no coat hangers in the closet. But the front desk staff provided a couple for me to use. The parking areas were much cleaner and free of overflowing trash receptacles. I was disappointed that the pool and hot tub area was closed but when I returned to the hotel a few hours later-it was re-open and I happily enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub after a busy day with my friend. I enjoy staying here and it is a great value and perfect location for when I come to visit the Portland area.

I arrived at approximately 3:30pm Saturday afternoon on 12/30/23. I parked directly in front of the main entrance. Before I even got out of my car, I noticed a trash can that was overflowing with garbage and there was a large amount of trash scattered around the trash container on the ground. I came and left the hotel several times over two days and always parked in the same immediate parking area. When I left the hotel on 1/1/24 around 11:15am-the trash was still there. My traveling companion had their own car which we left parked in the same area after we checked out and drove in my car over to the mall across the street. We returned about 75 minutes later and the parking area was now completely empty, and the trash was still there-even more visible due to the empty parking spaces. I guess the squirrels can continue to explore the trash for any tasteful nuggets that might still be laying around in the trash. Also, I needed a pen and went to the front desk to request one and the woman told me it was the only pen they had behind the desk. She me gave a piece of paper & the pen. I guess they no longer feel guests might find it useful to have a pen & pad of paper in the rooms nowadays. I went to the pool -there were no towels. I went to the front desk to ask if they could provide a couple towels & the same front desk person really made it clear it was inconvenient & would take at least 5 minutes. 25 minutes later & they never brought towels. Glad I wore my robe.

I liked the convience and the hospitality. The overall cleanliness and the comfort . I would have liked shuttle service to shopping and appointments as well as to and from the bus station. Very good accomodations and service.

The online booking for a double king was mistaken. There were none and all but the double pet room was available. This was really rough for my son who is allergic to dogs.
