Terrace with a view
The terrace on this property has the most stunning view of the river and the village opposite. My sister and i loved eating our breakfast, lunch in fact every moment we could spend on it we did. There is also a lovely relaxing area down on the riverside with reclining chairs where you can swim. My idea of the perfect holiday, swimming with kingfishers. The surrounding area is beautiful and interesting, plenty of places to visit before you return to the terrace. We had a wonderful week. Thanks to Guy who was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful Property in a Beautiful Setting
From the moment we set foot inside the gate we loved this place. The first thing that hits you is the view over the water. On entering the house you can see everything is as the writeup says and as the pictures show. For the first few days we were, apart from a little light exploration, content to just sit on the patio and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Eating meals outside into the late evening is also a joy. The village of Lincou doesn't have any shops but the the camping, a short walk along the river, sells bread etc to order and they also cook great pizzas and other things. The nearest supermarket is about 6km away. M. Lamy is very welcoming and extremely helpful but you will need at least your school French. He is still working at adding some great facilities in the lower garden which will attract us even more to go back again. Once you have exhausted yourselves relaxing there is the beautiful Tarn valley to explore with it's medieval villages and stunning views. There is a large collection of leaflets and maps in the house showing attractions for young and old alike.

A very attractive terraced garden property overlooking the Tarn and the village of Lincou.
The property offered lovely shaded areas to relax and enjoy the views of the Tarn flowing by and the village of Lincou. The owner lives on site and is friendly and helpful. The gite was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. A small book plus leaflets on walking were provided with the house tourist information. We would recommend this gite for those wanting an interesting walking, sketching/painting holiday as the opportunities are numerous.
