A Quiet Place to Stay in Pattaya
It’s in a very quiet place that has the look and feel of residential area, but still close to cluster of restaurant. Beach and the walking street are only about a km.
The only negatives I can think of is that it’s an old construction and so doors and some windows look old and don’t seal perfectly but adequately. Yes, there are lots of Middle East/Arab restaurant in the neighborhood, and that explains why this may be popular among those people. During the first part of my stay, there was a large Arab group, and because the rooms are not expensive most of them seemed to have lower education and have no understanding of the manner and etiquettes of the rest of the world. They looked and more like undereducated laborers or peasant types, and not like those sophisticated Arabs. Those with families may feel uncomfortable. Even on the streets there were younger middle eastern guys recklessly driving rented motorcycles, sometimes several of them together.
