Good comfortable stay. However no elevator/lift!
3 night stay over New Years weekend was good. Very close to Metro. Hot water and water pressure was great. Bed was comfortable. Hassan was a great front desk person. Helped out with our bags. Only downside to hotel: no elevator/lift! 4th floor stairs was a long walk up/down.

The property was in good location. Right across it is the train station, there’s a grocery stores laundromat and plenty of dining options around the Montparnasse area. However, the hotel is a bit outdated, rooms are small even though we booked a family triple room.They’re doing some construction at the entry way when we stayed there and it’s a bit inconvenient with all the barriers. It has very tight spaces and the only lift they have can only fit 1 person with luggage or 2 persons without luggage. The lift broke down during the day of our checkout and we have to bring our 25-30 kg luggages down their very narrow spiral staircases from the second and third floors. Staff are nice and they speak good English.

Because we only needed a bed and a shower for 10 hours, the room was adequate. We were grateful that the host changed us to a ground floor room after telling us the elevator was broken and hearing our objection, although he did not do so with a kind attitude… (I had filtered my Expedia search for hotels that had elevators!) The rug was dark and worn so it felt dirty even though we couldn’t really know that. And the bright pink bathroom was old but clean… The biggest problem was that there were cafe tables outside our door in a small courtyard and every time we opened the door or returned to the room, we were overwhelmed by cigarette smoke from the people sitting there. Handy for arriving very late at the train station and much cheaper than the alternatives - but we got what we paid for…

Excellent location, lovely stay at this hotel
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is an excellent location, very close to all of the Paris attractions and monuments. Just steps from several major metro lines, and made it very easy to get all over Paris. We were here for our honeymoon and we were so happy with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and kind all day and night. One thing I think other guests should know is that there aren't refrigerators in the room however the staff will store things for you in the refrigerator, so we were able to give them cheese and other items that we bought and they will access it for you at any time because somebody is at the front desk 24 hours a day. They will also give you ice if you bring them a bottle or bag etc. if you would like to take it up to your room. We had an exceptional stay and we will definitely stay here if we come back to Paris and recommend it to friends. Really lovely places to eat nearby, across the street from two different grocery stores and plenty of shopping in the train station as well. Thanks very much to the staff for a wonderful week.

The room was surprisingly quiet considering it is on a busy street. We were facing the courtyard and could sleep with the window cracked open without hearing any real traffic. The property did email me to ask what we preferred for a room; a shower or tub, lower or upper floor. As expected for Paris the room was small, but had everything you would need. It was still quite hot during the day for September (27-29 C). The hotel provided fans which were helpful for cooling down the room when we got back from a long day of walking and to sleep comfortably at night. We're not big fans (pardon the pun) of air conditioning, so didn't even try it to see if it works. So many restaurants & cafes within a 10 minute walk. We asked the front desk for dinner recommendations and both times were happy with the service and meal.
