Wonderful period rectory sympathetically extended to provide tastful and secure rooms with easy access to the gardens. Helpful and cheerful staff. It is no wonder it has recieved so many awards as a wedding venue. A pure delight!

Advertised as having a bar and restaurant. On arrival was told there is not any. The room was perfect. Bathroom lovely. But the bed was really hard and very uncomfortable. The estate is lovely. But walls are thin. Could hear next door even peeing. Noise from the main road that runs alongside is a real problem. Not sure I would come again

Nothing was too much trouble
I stayed in the recently refurbished rooms, modern, clean and lovely. To give constructive feedback I would say the heating kept going off so felt a chill a few times and the walls are thin so could hear next door coughing. TV didn’t get signal but I wasn’t there to watch it. The service is what makes this place, the ladies on reception were wonderful nothing was too much trouble and the acted swiftly and efficiently. I can’t wait to stay there again in a few weeks.

Better than Holiday Inn
Excellent one night stay in the area. Room upgraded to recently decorated which waas nice in the courtyard. Breakfast was very tasty and varied. Lovely surroundings and easy to find. Walls a little thin in the rooms so woke up to next door chatting and hairdrying.
