Hampton Inn is our go-to hotel when we travel. Not always, but more often than most. This Hampton Inn provided the same service and quality we have come to expect from the chain. Only negative is that the room is a little "tight" in terms of two people moving around in comparison to most Hampton Inn rooms. But given location, understandable and really didn't cause a major bother, got used to it fairly quickly.

Happy experience for a hotel refugee

Sunday checked into my original hotel which was so cramped it gave me claustrophobia. Checked into Hampton Inn Monday morning; great front desk staff, normal sized rooms allowed me to enjoy rather than endure my NYC trip.

NYC Financial District Hampton Inn

Pros: Great location in financial district and within two blocks of subway station.
Cons: Fix problem with lack of hot water.
Location: Everything NYC has to offer is easily accessible thanks to nearby subway station.
Did not have hot water most of time. Extremely cold water came out and when complained to hotel staff got the standard "nobody else is having a problem ...". Was told had to let hot water run for a long time which worked at times but suddenly turned freezing cold. I will never return return to this hotel unless I hear problem has been fixed.
