We partially visited Narva on curiosity of how bad the hotels were. We were disappointed. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff assisted above the call of duty for travel arrangements, and the breakfast was substantial. Very central on top of it all. David
basically do not expect any service. reception basically only there to collect your payment and give u room key.
they booked a taxi unwillingly for us but did not inform driver where we are heading and we had difficulty explaining to the driver who did not understand english
wanted to buy a souvenior (Narva magnet) on departure day from the hotel, the receptionist had no change and gave me a 'that's too bad' look without any attempt to look for change from the bar or from any hotel staff. not a positive experience for a tourist
enjoyed the stay here...the included breakfast looked great but eggs were cold and food was only so-so....

In town, near shopping center and restaurants. Bed was very bad. OK breakfast.
Kitchen was ok, but very slow cooking.

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Could be so much better
The beds are not proper hotel beds but cheap frames with cheap mattreses. The two rooms i occupied had a musky damp smell which was not pleasant so i bought air freshener sprays to cover it up.The baths have no shower curtains so water all over the floor when you shower.when the cleaners do your room in the morning they just throw the bedcovers back on the bed regardless of whats underneath pillow location etc. There are no refrigerators in the rooms my room was 30c last night as no aircon so the least the room should have is a refrigerator so you can have a cold drink. You cannot sign for meals in the restaraunt and settle up with your bill when you leve. The reception staff are pleasant and friendly and most of the restaraunt staff are too but the meals have no consistancy and something that was very nice and tasty one day is rubbish a few days later.

Inexpensive but you get what you pay for....
Good location, free parking and nice breakfast were pluses. But small room, no a/c, VERY warm and uncomfortable, beds tiny and not so soft. No light blocking shades, so sun woke us up at about 5am or earlier, due to short nights at this lattitude.
Rich breakfast buffet. All restaurant was used as breakfast room, so there was plenty of space. For early departure I was given a breakfast box, but coffee was not availiable. My room was on the sunny side, so it soon became very warm. Narva is not a big city; you can walk everywhwere. To railway and bus station it is however a 20 minutes walk.
