The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room not only had room-darkening curtains but the windows were soundproof allowing you to get a great night’s sleep in a somewhat noisy city! It’s location is perfect for walking to the port & shopping.

Great B&B in the Center of Old Naples

Pros: The balcony of my room and the sunny breakfast terrace surrounded by a colorful container garden. Great!
Cons: Maybe adding to the breakfast menu a pot of "café americano" to the traditional Italian coffees offered: espressos, lungos, macchiatos, lattes.
Location: Via Toledo shopping, the Ristorante del Golfo for dinner, Galeria Umberto, funicular up to Castelo di San Elmo with splendid view of the city and bay.
Centrally located, within a short walk of the Toledo metro stop, and only a few steps away from one of Naples' main shopping streets, the Attico Partenopio is a clean, comfortable, quiet, and friendly B&B. Don't be put off by the drab entrance to the hotel. Just ring yourself in and then take the lift up to the 5th floor. When you step out, a world of light and cheerfulness will greet you, for the B&B is on the top floor of a typical Neopolitan apartment complex arranged around a central courtyard. I stayed nine nights. The staff were helpful in so many ways: finding directions (They would cheerfully look up the information on the internet if they did not know it off-hand); they would advise me on local customs, events I might be interested in, restaurants, where to buy a plug converter, etc. They also got in touch with me by email before my arrival and and advised me, for example, how much I should expect to pay for a taxi from the airport to the hotel.
