I arrived to a scene in which a front desk employee was being rude and argumentative to a guest who was wanting to cancel due to a door lock issue. That immediately set me on guard. Another employee was able to step in and help the guest. My door cards never did work and I had to call to be let in my room each time I came back. My toilet had black flakes around the edge of the bowl and the toilet ran constantly. That was fixed by maintenance. The bed pillows were tiny squares. The room was clean which I appreciate. The key issue is absolutely unacceptable and quite frankly should warrant a partial refund. Initially, I wasn't even told my keys may not work even though the entire motel was having issues with key cards not working. I was a single woman waiting at 11 PM to be let back into my room after a call to let me in had to be made. Every guest dealing with this issue should have been given a partial refund immediately. I would have left but I was in town for a college event and did not have time to deal with the issue.

The beds were the worst! The free breakfast wasn’t fit for eating. The gravy tasted and smelled like dog food and the rest of the hot foods were cold
