A two-bedroom unit situated upstairs in a building in the camping ground next door to the Cowshed, nearby to all facilities that are shared with the campers (toilets, hot showers, small kitchen, "The Cowshed" lounge area with free WiFi, lawns and gardens). Both bedrooms have beautiful views of the beach, the Mokihinui river mouth, the camping ground and gardens, and New Zealand Native Bush.

Our one-thousand acre property is set in surroundings where Aotearoa is as it used to bulush, unspoiled and natural. A slice of paradise. Gentle Annie is an ideal place to get off the beaten track to experience New Zealand's untamed wilderness and truly appreciate the South Islands West Coast. Bounded by the Tasman Sea, the mighty Mokihinui River and beautiful ancient bush, our seaside accommodation is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy time away from the busy life and provides a great base to explore our stunning region. Centrally located in the Northern West Coast, Gentle Annie is near places of interest where day trips will get you north to the magnificent Oparara Limestone Arches, the Kahurangi National Park, the Heaphy Track and south to the Chasm Creek and Charming Creek Walkways, Punakaiki Pancake Rocks, the Denniston Plateau and the Cape Foulwind Seal Colony. We are on the doorstep of the new Old Ghost Road mountain-biking track in Seddonville! In any season, enjoy time at Gentle Annie. It will nourish your soul and awaken your senses.

A beautiful spot
I stayed here with my mum and her partner before setting off for a hike. Gentle Annies accomodation was in a beautiful spot with amazing outdoor showers. Friendly and approachable people on site. An awesome place to stay!

Lovely campground
Located in a beautiful spot, the Treehouse provides spacious sleeping for 4 people. The heaters provided adequate warmth and the views lovely once the rain had gone. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but would be good with a little fridge upstairs too. The new toilet, shower and laundry block is great. And the outdoor dining and brazier area look good, although we didn’t use it.
