In the heart of the majestic Cacapon Mountainside. Awake to the romantic misty mornings accompanied by a soft symphony of birds and wildlife.

Great deck on the outside, charming and cozy living spaces on the inside. Featuring a fully enclosed porch with incredible views of the forest, a wood burning fireplace, an open floor plan on the main level and central air conditioning. Enjoy the full service kitchen, the cozy living room, an open dining area, and a large sun room! A perfect place for a morning coffee! The cabin has five bedrooms: A Master bedroom with a queen and a twin in the loft, second bedroom has two doubles, third has a king, and the remaining have a queen and and a double in each room. Five full bathrooms are available as well. Sit out on the deck and breathe in the fresh mountain air or relax away your worries in the hot tub in the cool of the evening! Serendipity has a variety of other amenities available for guests! Wireless internet, Smart TV, a laundry area, a propane grill, a massage table, and much more!

The Cabin is a pet-friendly cabin waiting for you. Guests are charged per pet, with a maximum of two pets. The fee is $30 per pet plus applicable fees.

**Please note, we have limited internet providers in the area and speeds can be very slow or problematic and may not support multiple users due to infrastructure issues. Definitely had sleeping capacity as described and communication was top notch. Kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware and cooking supplies. Lots of books, games, music, etc., including a small ping pong table. We did not use the firepit as the chairs were in poor condition. Suggest a deep clean or replacement of plastic chairs and stow under deck when not in use, and the grass needed to be mowed. We also did not realize that the hot tub was drained and that we needed to fill it and bring it up to temperature to use it, no idea how long this would take. Perhaps this could be done by management prior to guest arrival.

Our family of nine had plenty of room, huge grand table to share many meals, and did the whole Berkeley Springs experience. Cacapon Park and C&O Canal nearby as well. Right across from the beautiful community pool which was well maintained.

The 8 of us were impressed with Serendipity. We each had our own bed, and the multiple bathrooms, spaciousness of the house, the hot tub and fire ring made our stay very enjoyable. We had a blast! Will likely return in the future.

Leaders' Retreat
Serendipity was perfect for our leaders' Retreat, providing ample sleep accommodations and a comfortable gathering space. The weather didn't permit us to take advantage of the fantastic deck or fire pit...but there is always next time!

Very Pleased!
Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations and was a great value for a family vacation. We would return. Excellent location and community. Large house with plenty of rooms. We had 4 adults, 5 kids, and a dog and we could have fit more. Some of the bedrooms and bathrooms on the lower floor would benefit from an update, but still fine. Everything worked well. Hot tub was great. Outdoor deck area was awesome. Hammocks were a bonus. We had no problems with internet or wireless service. Worked perfectly and plenty of bandwidth.

The house was a little older than expected but comfortable and spacious for our two generations of 6 adults and 2 dogs. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and dishes, along with some condiments. Hiking trails in community are well marked.

Holiday Getaway
Great location with beautiful view. Big house and comfortable for humans and dogs. Hot tub enjoyed. Xmas tree decorated and setup was a special treat. Trails were fun with dogs. State Park is easy drive and also great hiking. Thank you.
