Room smelled horribly of cigarettes. Had to stand outside in cold for check in. Room was old a lots broken items stained carpets and dirty fridge. Worst I’ve experienced
I couldn’t get the heat to work only the AC and it was cold enough in that room that I couldn’t roll out, which left me really sore the next day. It probably would have been fine during the summer but not late fall.
I was called the day of my reservation for a five night stay by a very nasty person. She said my charge card did not go through and I need to be vaccinated. She immediately hung up without asking me to check my card number and to hear if I had been vaccinated which I have. It is a hell of a way to deal with a customer. I was stranded for a bit until someone told me about another hotel that was better, less costly and better located. I have never been treated so incredibly poor by a property in my entire life. The owner has strangely harassed me since and wrote the following bizarre thing to me, "First rule of customer service, is NOT ALL CUSTOMERS ARE RIGHT! NEVER BEND OVER BACK WARDS for Unreasonable customers." The owner is a very angry person and does not know the first thing about customer service. I suggest you find somewhere else to stay if you do not want to confront such a combative and crazy owner.
