Cozy AFrame Cabin w/ Hot Tub overlooking Titus Mtn

We'd love for you to enjoy our RUSTIC cabin. It's a hidden away massage for your soul. You can get away from it all, while being completely connected if/when you decide. Our cabin is just 4 miles from the Robert Trent Jones designed, 36 hole golf course (Malone Golf Club). It's also a 1/2 mile from Salmon River trout fishing access. There are endless ATV trails, while hiking trails also abound. You'll share stories around the bonfire or cozy up to the stone fireplace. There's no better starting place for Adirondack leaf peeping in the Fall. In the Winter, you're 1/4 mile to Titus Mtn., the trails of which you can see through from your large, South facing windows.
The village of Malone is 5 miles away. There, you can pick up all the supplies you need for a gourmet dinner or you can find mouthwatering dishes in one of many welcoming restaurants.
Come upstate of "upstate" New York to hear yourself think.

April blizzard!
We stayed during an April snowstorm that lasted the 3 days we were here. I was considering either travel to Florida or a mountain cabin stay. Wow am I glad I picked this place! The fireplace, views of the upper mountain at Titus, the woods around the home, the design and decor were all so amazing. I was hoping Titus would open up one more time for this huge snow dump but alas that did not happen. However, the kids had so much fun in the snowy woods surrounding the home. They played in the woods, sledding and making a snowman. They also greatly enjoyed the hot tub each day. We played board games and worked on a puzzle and a lego kit. We brought all this, but really didn’t need to, as the house is well stocked with games. We also brought our dog; I tried to find kennel space for him last minute but everything was booked. The owner graciously let me add his stay after the booking process was complete. Travis Kelce ( my pup, not the man) added so much joy to the experience and I’m so happy he was allowed to join us!

Beautiful setting
We LOVED this property. It was in such beautiful, wooded surroundings, and with the cozy, knotty pine interior, we fell in love with our leisurely morning breakfasts and conversations. It was difficult getting motivated to do anything else on our trip! We plan to book again on our next trip to the North Country!

Nice Getaway in the Malone, NY area
We were looking for a place that we could stay, while we were in Malone, NY for my nephew’s wedding, where we could also bring our 14+ year old dog; and, we luckily found this gem. Having read the other reviews, which mentioned the difficulty of the entrance road & the uncomfortable living room & dining room furniture, I will agree with those concerns; but, there are so many other positive amenities that make this place a “find”. We slept downstairs because of our dog; but, the upstairs master suite is great. The new upstairs 1/2 bathroom is a great addition. We used the WiFi, outside deck, the gas grill, the dishwasher and the washer and dryer. With limited time and the warm rainy weather, we did not use the hot tub, outdoor fire pit or indoor fireplace; but, I can envision other guests really enjoying them. The location is about 7 miles from Malone’s business area, which includes a grocery store and drug store; and it is about 1/2 way between the golf course and winter ski resort. On your way into town, there is also a nice municipal park, with a variety of athletic facilities. Our experience wasn’t perfect. There were a few outdoor facility issues; but, once I contacted our property manager, Ashley, she and Luis, were very responsive. If we need a place to stay again in the Malone area, we will certainly consider this one. We will also recommend it to other family members and friends. Thanks, Cindy, Ashley and Luis, for your hospitality! Sincerely, Pat Kelly

Good vacation home
Was good for a quiet getaway. We liked the house and location. Try to arrive during the day otherwise it may be hard to find. Lots of hikes in the area. High Falls on Salmon River was great. Also Lyon Mountain Firetower Trail.

Sweet home
The property owner was very responsive as we worked through a payment processing glitch. The house was immaculate with lots of fluffy towels and a lovely toiletries basket. I really appreciated the frozen pizza they left. Perfect for move in day. The decor if this A frame is super cute. It has a ski vibe, which i love. The masdive 2 story windows on the back side flooded the house with light. I loved the privacy and made friends with the neighborhood cat that stopped regularly to check on me. The bed was very comfy. (I chose the firmest, which was downstairs.) If you plan to cook, there are tons of spices and space to work. There is no blender, which I would have liked. I ran out to Walmart and bought a mini drip coffee maker for the house after I was unable to make the single serve coffee machine work. I was working remotely during g my week. There's an office area upstairs, but the chair was annoyingly low so I ended up working at the kitchen countertop. The stools for the bar and table are super cute, but not comfortable. The sofa was not, either. The chaise was okay, but the sofa part was not at all comfortable if you want to lounge after a day of exploring. And there is plenty of hiking if that's your thing. The ski mountain is small, but looks cute and is privately run, which I appreciate. Speaking of winter, I would anticipate that AWD or 4WD would be best to get up the road and into the driveway. The town center is a few minutes away. If you're looking for fine dining, you won't find it there. I was looking for a quick getaway and this delivered. The only reason I gave I 4 stars is because I really believe living and dining area furniture should be comfy and inviting. Other than that, this is a sweet gem!

Great quiet stay
Even though close to a main road it was quiet and on clear nights we were able to enjoy the fire and look at stars.

Don't overlook this gem!
We had a wonderful, relaxing time. The camp has a delightful, put your feet up, you are home feel to it - the camp welcomes you! It was the perfect distance, midway, between our visit to the Eisenhower locks, Robert Malone State Park, Paul Smith's VIC and kayaking on local ponds and lakes. Malone has a lovely Memorial Park that is perfect for dog walking and family. This camp and its surrounding are has a lot to offer and Cindy is a fabulous host!

Perfect Stay
We grew up in Northern NY and have since moved to Kentucky. We brought friends from KY with us on this trip to show them the North Country. This beautiful cabin was the perfect way for us to show them what it’s all about. We hiked, enjoyed a couple fires, had family come up, cooked on the grill and really enjoyed the space. Thank you so much for the awesome stay! We would rent this place again in a heartbeat!
