Bourbon trip
The good- place is cute and very clean. The house can accommodate a very large group. My husband and I, another couple, and a single man stayed here for six nights. The house is close to bourbon tours, shops and restaurants. The bad: location is kind of sketchy and is on a very highly traffic street. We travel a lot and use Vrbo all the time. We are very good about reading reviews and making sure that the place that we are staying at meets our standards. My husband sifted through tons of reviews and did not see anything that spoke of highly traffic -noisy street. The house is also close to an airport so you will hear planes coming and going throughout the day /night. There were also many motorcycles through the week speeding down the road with loud motors. Needless to say, most of us did not get very much sleep. We actually all chose to leave two days early because of this issue. The house had a few issues itself. The shower in the lower basement had very little water pressure. Our friend that was staying there did not talk to us about just this until right before we left. I think he thought because everyone was so upset about the noise, he chose to be quiet. We also had a dead mouse in the floorboard on the fourth night. We came home to a very smelly upstairs. This is not anyone’s fault. This does happen. I think with just the minimal amount of sleep-we were all just ready to go home. Overall, we did enjoy our time, but we would have picked a different location
