Wonderful

We really loved this quirky hotel. Very stylish and sexy decor. Great location, right in the heart of London and super convenient to Tottenham Court Station for getting in and out of the city. This was perfect for a short stay to brush up on the sights and meals we craved. We'll definitely stay here again!
It was unusual, the decor was interesting, the bed was comfortable, but a kettle had to be brought to the room and the kettle had to be plugged in on the floor.
During check-in I was ignored at reception, the people behind me were seen to first.
I was not warned about the four flights of stars to the room
There was a constant hum in the room
The bathroom floor was not clean, you could see what looked like urine around the bottom of the toilet
The shower over spilled to the toilet and sink area causing us to use the towels that we were supposed to use to dry us to dry the floor
On the Friday the butler said he would send a text that evening in case I needed anything and the text was not received until an hour before checking out, he was friendly thou.
The room we had was amazing, the biggest "mini bar" I've seen. Great sound system, really comfy bed. We went to the bar as well, which had a good atmosphere. You might need to book this in advance as it does get busy.
The only downsides are you still do get some of the noise from outside through the night as it is in the west end. If youre a light sleeper then this might not be the hotel for you. We never received the number of the butler.
My partner did say the lighting was a bit too dark to be able to get ready and the room was lacking a full length mirror.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Just a few pointers for improvement.
Main issue with property is that they insist on CHARGING £200 in advance regardless of whether you partake in the items from their room bar. This is a charge and not your usual “credit card hold” that other hotels take for potential mini-bar use. If you are an international traveller, you will know that even if they refund, your card company will never credit the full amount due to the exchange rate difference.
I had to negotiate to pay in cash £200 plus a credit card hold, in advance as they wanted £500 in cash. Apparently this is their usual policy which I find quite unreasonable. I got the cash back as I did not consume anything from their bar.
Other negative is that the room / apartment I was in got a lot of street noise. It was a walk-up x 3 floors but my Butler helped with the luggage so that wasn’t an issue but this may be more of a problem with other travellers.
Room was large, comfortable and interestingly decorated but they should have curtains for all the windows- even ones in the sitting area as you can look into the room at night.
Very hi Tec fixtures and controls but not everything worked!
Please be aware that ALL bar drinks in room are payable -ask to be shown the price list.
If your butler offers to open a bottle of champagne, don’t assume it’s complimentary.
Best part of the hotel -
The butler team was great - very helpful and responsive.
Location was very convenient to tube station and Covent Garden

Disliked: Room comfort
All style, no substance
Style over substance. Expensive (even for London), small room, uncomfortable bed, badly designed and maintained shower/bathroom. Terrible sleep both nights (especially first night) but after calmly explaining the issues they told me that I would have to pay extra to move to an upgraded room, rather than upgrading me out of courtesy when I was paying £380/night without breakfast for a terrible sleep. Really disappointed, this hotel ruined my trip.
