Impressive detached property, stylishly furnished with its own private driveway and a fully enclosed spacious garden.

The house has a light and airy environment with plenty of space for families or groups of friends. It comfortably sleeps 8 people in its four large bedrooms, two of which can be twins if required. The sleek and contemporary kitchen/dining room is the perfect place for sociable cooking and eating. The triple aspect living room has been comfortably arranged around an imposing fireplace with wood burner.

It is ideal for exploring the Wye and Elan Valleys with its cosy wood burner to return to after a day enjoying the delights of the area.

A one minute walk from the house will take you to a lovely, friendly village pub with a contemporary restaurant using locally sourced produce. When you feel the need for exercise there’s a cycle path on your doorstep, plenty of walking routes and a village park to enjoy.

This is the ideal central location from which to explore a variety of visitor attractions and places of interest. Llanyre village lies in the Upper Wye Valley, 1½ miles to the west of the town of Llandrindod Wells.

A wonderful week in mid Wales
We had a fantastic week. The house was perfect for our family of 5, and is very accurately represented by the photos. The whole place is really clean and well equipped and we very much appreciated the Prosecco, Welsh tea / coffee, milk and biscuits left for us by our hosts. The surrounding area is beautiful - so many walking and cycling opportunities. We made full use of lockable bike shed next to the house. We shall certainly be returning for another visit.

Perfect get away!
We stayed at this property with friends so there was four adults and four children in total. This house was perfect for our needs so spacious we didn’t all feel on top of each other and the house was so lovely and clean with everything you may possibly need for your stay. We found the location great with so much to do nearby and the owners were really helpful and had provided you with so many ideas. Absolutely fantastic stay would defiantly return!

Superb House in a Perfect setting
From booking and Covid changes to arriving everything was just perfect! Huw was on hand for arrival and nearby during the stay should we need anything and nothing was too much trouble! The house was even bigger than it appeared in the listing images and was just perfect as a base for our family of 8 adults, 2 children and an infant! It is spotlessly clean and modern with everything you could need! The adults particularly enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire pit under the stars and the children loved the play set! There are plenty of attractions nearby and the local pub The Bell is also a hidden gem and worth a visit! Thanks so much to Huw for being accommodation from start to finish - we will definitely look to come back soon!

Fantastic break
Beautiful property matched by the stunning backdrop of the Welsh hills. Modern furnishings, spotlessly clean and superbly equipped with everything you think you need and more. Lovely, safe garden for children to play - could get my daughter away from the swing most days. Huw was very friendly and available with suggestions on places to visit (more importantly patiently answered my Dad’s nosy questions like ‘who would pull out a log from the bottom of the pile?’ - thank you for that!) Absolute gem of a place :-)
