Great location, easy to get to all the sights
I had a wonderful time at Solar dos Poetas. The service was exceptional and the breakfast was bar service were also both very good. The location was perfect for us, with a trolley stop directly in front of the hotel door leading to many of the main sights. It is also very walkable, allowing us to explore and find new fun places even late into the night. The windows were incredibly soundproof, going from the noise of a lively pubic square to total silence. I'm really glad we chose this area over some others because it really allowed us to experience the city in ways that make Lisbon feel unique. The other hotel we considered was on a big road that felt indistinguishable from any other European capital. This place felt like a 4* neighborhood hotel which was much more enjoyable.

The piano bar music was a superb way to say have a great day. Management was eager to please and professionally offered us great advise how to access what we were looking for. The view of the square elevated our spirit. This is one of the best rooms we ever stayed in.
