Old Dudes Weekend Fishing Trip
Weekend fishing trip for 5 dads. Overall we had a great time. The (log) cabin was nice. Check-in was easy. Clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Used the large grill on the back deck and worked well, also very clean.
The communication with owners lagged a bit once we were at the property. The cabin was short on bath towels. Luckily we brought a few of our own. Not a big deal for the dads but would have been if the wives had joined us!
Also, one of the bedrooms on the first floor had bunks and could only sleep one man per bed. The description lists that bedroom as sleeping 3. The common area bed is a small nook space under the stairs...perfect for kids, but not for a grown man.
Met a neighbor who was helpful in explaining the dock situation and also offered some advice on where to fish.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in a quiet area and the surrounding landscape was very nice.
