This hotel had the wow factor from the moment you walked in the gate. Fantastic room with a private outdoor area, and super helpful staff. My only complaint was our breakfast waiter, while lovely and very helpful, had a horrendous head cold and honestly should not have been handling customers food and drink while unwell as was coighing and sniffling throughout. Needless to say I've come home with a passenger and suffering the same. Absolutely not the fault.of the waiter, the hotel should have had someone else handle breakfast service so the waiter could recover.

Great Stay
The hotel was everything we expected and more. To stay in such a historical building was a privilege and the service was everything you would expect. The tower itself is well worth a quick visit too. Breakfasts were very good, but it was a shame the bar wasn't open as there were so many nice areas for an evening drink. That said, room service could bring drinks for us to consume anywhere. We stayed 3 nights and it was a great location for parking and just a 5-10 minute walk straight into the old town, and great base to visit Otranto and Gallipoli,

Hotel is within an easy 10-minute walk of the walled city. It's like staying in a castle! Staff is friendly. Martina at the front desk is exceptional and will help with whatever needed. She is a joy and I wish more hotels has staff like her! Breakfast is wonderful, what great selections! Parking is a bit of a challenge, but manageable. I would definitely stay here again.
