Very pleasant stay. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Lausanne's train station so very comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. Facilities and room in great condition and breakfast was lovely.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Mirabeau. It is in a great location. The hotel was clean and well maintained for its age. The staff were incredibly helpful. I would stay here again.

Wonderful and reasonably priced centrally located
The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable. Great old building with high ceilings. Great breakfast spread. Particular shout out to the front office person who checked me in and whom I saw in the evenings during my stay. He helped me understand very quickly the subway/tram system and also helped me obtain very quickly and efficiently a dinner reservation at a well regarded Fondue restaurant. Location is ideal for getting to all parts of the town (Ouchy included using the tram).

This hotel is fabulous, clean, comfortable, the staff there are very nice! The breakfast is excellent, decent, quality. What a pity that we had to skip our breakfast on our last day because of the itinerary, the staff can also give us the take-away breakfast, simple but great~! Thanks much again! 😊😊

The hotel and rooms are now very old fashioned. No overhead shower that works properly, and at the hotel front entrance you have to drag your suitcase up four steps. What is EXCELLENT about this hotel is the restaurant: very good food, spotless, excellent service.

Great hotel in Lausanne and very close to transport. The restaurant is excellent. Remember to put the do not disturb sign on your door, especially if you are having a nap.

We chose this hotel because it's a few blocks from the train station and seemed to be very nice--and it is both of those things. The problem is that it's awfully pricey for what it offers. I had been under the impression that the hotel had a lake view, which it does not (though it's at the top of the hill). It's perfectly nice, but it was probably the most expensive of the hotels we stayed at and neither better nor worse in terms of room quality, cleanliness, etc. Unlike other European hotels we stayed at, it doesn't include breakfast in the price -- and its in-house restaurant is also quite pricey for rather small portions.
