Welcome to the heart of the arts and culture district of Lafayette, LA. Walking distance to all the popular downtown restaurants, art galleries and entertainment venues and Mardi Gras parade routes. This historic cottage has been completely updated and the interior design is modern and fresh. The front porch swing is perfect for coffee or a cold beverage. Come make moments and memories at our cottage. See you soon.
The space
If you love cooking you will enjoy this fully equipped kitchen with gas stove. The open floor plan is great for entertaining and visiting with each other. The front porch is so relaxing and a lovely place to sit and visit. The washer and dryer comes in handy for all those traveling. The parking in the back has a double covered carport, Just steps away from the back door where the keyless entry is located.Your back door neighbors live in the ULL experimental “green” home. And across that home is the yellow house featured on House Hunters.

Very comfortable house, convenient location
House was perfect for our needs. Clean and comfortable. Close to downtown restaurants. The neighborhood (like much of Lafayette) is mixed: a cute, well-maintained house next to one that’s very rundown.

I enjoyed the stay so much I’m ready to book again! The neighbors are so friendly they came over to welcome us . We sat on the porch and enjoyed the day . Even feed the homeless and they were so kind . The house is very cozy and everything so cute just the right size . Perfect 10/10

Perfect Little House
The house was the perfect size for our weekend getaway. Very nice and clean inside. The beds we’re comfortable and the sectional couch provides space for for two additional people if needed. The location was very close to downtown with all the restaurants and entertainment however the neighborhood itself was very rundown and does not appear to be the safest area. Overall it was a good trip and I would recommend this house as long as you don’t plan on walking anywhere.

We pulled up to the property that was renovated and clean. The community around had abandoned homes, trash and tons of transient people who were very sketchy. The area felt very unsafe and was not family friendly. We would not have walked around the community at all. We ended up not staying there and booked a hotel nearby. Currently requesting a refund through Expedia. Not what we were expecting at all from the 3 online reviews that we read that only talked about the property but neglected to describe the surrounding community and lack of safety.

Weekend stay for college graduation
This home was very nice and exactly like the pics posted . Beds are comfortable and ample parking . Would use again and recommend if wanting to be close to downtown area and campus. Occasionally you may hear the train at night . Very clean and well supplied with everything you need .
