Southwest near Le Mourne
Decent sized one bedroom with large bathroom (shower & bidet), small kitchen, private partly covered porch, and communal rooftop area. Car useful. Laid-back neighborhood with small town nearby - felt safe. Porch overlooked a kids rec area mostly blocked by two large palm trees. Hosts were very accommodating and their suggestions for things to do and places to eat were great.

Ideal if you seek the simple life
Tucked away in a quiet village, these apartments give lots of space and great views. It’s a shame they are not closer to a beach, the nearest being a couple of miles’ drive, but that is a beautiful beach so worth the drive. There’s very little in Cotteau Raffin itself, but a mile up the road in La Gaulette there is a very good supermarket, and some eating options- we only tried Enso, which did good burgers and beer. A good location for exploring the Black River Gorges and Chamarel area. The apartment is very simply furnished - personally we thought a small indoor dining table and a bit more storage would have been helpful. The description is accurate, so note there is no TV or hairdryer, for example, if that matters to you. The WiFi was great once working - we didn’t realise we could connect to any of the 4 networks, and lost access for a couple of days. The only disappointment was belatedly discovering the apartments are listed significantly cheaper on an alternative booking site.

This was my second stay in this studio! You won't be disappointed!
My boyfriend and I spent a little over 2 months in Mauritius and while our original booking with Trish and Kev was only for a week, we ending up booking our entire stay with them. So we were lucky enough to stay in a number of their apartments, all of which are perfect for any length of stay. We stayed in this studio twice and it was a definite favorite! To start, their property is easily in the best area of the island. It’s a safe and quiet residential community. After much exploration and hearing the opinions of other guests, We wouldn’t suggest staying far from Le Morne beach. You’re a short drive to the most beautiful beaches of the island as well as a fully stocked grocery store. I will say that a car is a must though, as you’ll undoubtedly want to explore the rest of the island. Luckily you can rent a car from Trish and Kev! The apartment is simple, but lovely. Tastefully decorated with natural tones, there’s more than enough space for two. You’ve got a large closet with a safe to hold your valuables, a bathroom much larger than typical American bathrooms, and AC should you choose. We opted for the sea breeze, sleeping with our patio doors open every night. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook yourself. If you can’t find something, just ask! Or if you prefer to eat out, there are a number of restaurants worth visiting close by. The cleaning ladies do a wonderful job of keeping the place spotless. No matter which apartment you’re in, you have a lovely private terrace for breath taking views of the sunset. For the sunrise, be sure to head up to the roof deck one morning for a full view. Dinner up there is lovely as well. Internet was a priority since we work remote. We had a few hiccups, which were addressed immediately so we were able to work without interruption. Before leaving, the town north of here was getting fiber optic cable, so surely it will be available here soon. As for activities outside of the apartment, Trish and Kev are a wonderful resource, happy to help research and book any type of excursion, from a private beach dinner to swimming with dolphins. I can’t recommend this place enough! You’ll be extremely pleased with yourself. Trish and Kev made our stay wonderful by not only being wonderful and thorough hosts, but lovely people. We hope to visit our friends again soon!

Studio grand, confortable et propre. Terrasse agréable pour prendre ses repas. En revanche bruit strident (de pompe ?) à proximité et incessant. Eau chaude 1 jour sur 1 semaine. Panne totale d’eau pendant 24h Pas d’accueil par les proprios L’annonce ne précise pas l’étage (nous aurions préféré l’étage supérieur) Pas de TV surtout si le temps est mauvais

Le sudio est neuf et tres confortable avec son immense lit !! Chaque appartement à sa propre terrasse ombragee et la possibilite de profiter du toit terrasse commun. Tout est conforme a la descrition. Je recommande.

Wirklich toll
Der Aufenthalt war super. Das Zimmer ist schön hergerichtet und beinhaltet alle wichtigen Dinge. Die Vermieterin ist super nett, gut erreichbar und kümmert sich sofort um jedes Anliegen. Die Dachterrasse ist für alle zugänglich und bietet einen tollen Ausblick. Die Lage ist nicht direkt am Strand aber dafür nur wenige Autominuten von Le Morne und Tamarin entfernt. In Flic en Flac ist man in circa 45 Minuten. Also echt sehr zentral. Gute Restaurants und ein Supermarkt sind auch Vorort (3 Min mit dem Auto). Sollten wir wieder mal nach Mauritius reisen, dann definitiv wieder in diese Unterkunft.

Super Apartment für 2 Personen, großzügige Räume. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Fotos der Dachterrasse sind nicht auf dem aktuellen Stand. Es gibt jetzt mehr Gebäude und Bäume, die den Ausblick einschränken.

angenehmer Aufenthalt
Besitzer und Reinigungspersonal sehr freundlich und hilfbereit. Es fehlt an Ablageflächen in Küche und Zimmer. Es fehlt ein Tisch im Zimmer so muss der einzige vorhandene Tisch immer von der Terasse ins Zimmer verschoben werden. Schade auch dass die Terasse nicht gedeckt ist, wenn's regnet ist nichts mit draussen sitzen. Ansonsten schönes Appartment. jedoch ohne Aussicht.
