Welcome to this architecturally unique vacation home.
Here you will stay on a sunny allotment on the island of Skåtøy in the archipelago outside Kragerø. Fill your vacation days with swimming, sunbathing, playing in the water and exciting fishing trips. Within 15 minutes by boat you can reach the town of Kragerø, a coastal town pearl, and beyond that the rest of this archipelago. Skåtøy is the largest island in Kragerø municipality and has several hiking trails as well as a 7 km bicycle path; there are also many berries and mushrooms here that you are free to pick.
At the island's main village is Skåtøy Café & Gallerie, where well-known and lesser-known Norwegian musicians give concerts during the summer. We recommend you to visit the "Elephant", a popular viewpoint, and the Eidkil Canal, which divides the island. There is a path with old stone steps leading to Darfjellåsen, the highest point on the island. From Kragerø, a ferry crosses over to Skåtøy and on to the island of Jomfruland, where there is a beautiful boulder beach. Take a day trip to the Telemark Canal or Stabbestad with golf course and spa hotel.
