Prior to booking this hotel, I was pleased with all of the positive reviews. I remember reading at least one review which mentioned a musty odor in the room. I got one of those rooms! “How bad can a little odor be?” Well, I wondered the same thing and now I know. Each time I entered the room (over the 4 nights we were there!) I had a strong urge to NOT enter. And once inside, all I could do was think of the odor—not get some rest and plan activities for the next day. If a room has a issue which makes me not want to be in the room, that’s a problem. This does not reflect the hard work of most of the staff (I did notice) but just my experience there. Because of this experience this hotel will be near the bottom of my possible future choices. This is unfortunate since I am in the area several times a year.

Bad

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: See comments above
There was a boil water advisory in effect during both nights of my stay due to a water main break. Breakfast was limited, no coffee and I had to specially request bottles of water from the front desk to brush my teeth and make coffee in my room. Poor water pressure to to the water main issue. While I understand this is not the hotel's fault, little was done to male appropriate accommodations and I was still charged full rate for the hotel. No bottled water was provided in my room.

nice stay

Cons: it was kind of noisy out in the hallway...but that was the other guests...not the hotels fault. good beds clean and worth the money.
coming back from a trip to florida. good location not directly in Jackson great staff, room, and complimentary breakfast.

Thanksgiving with family.

Pros: The hotel was very close to my family's residence.
Cons: The entrance from the side road was not well marked and very dark at night. I missed the entrance twice when I came in after dark.
Location: Everything extra that we needed was close by.
The room was comfortable and clean. Having a microwave and good sized refrigerator was a definate plus.

Great hotel stay!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Was attending a wedding and chose this hotel due to it being conveniently placed on I55. It was one of the nicer hotels ive stayed in and was priced reasonably. I would defintely recommened it to anyone staying Jackson!

One of the BEST!

Our family stayed at this hotel July 3 to 5, 2009 and we loved it! We accidentally found this hotel and vowed to stay here in our next visit. Room was just right, very clean and very comfortable - a small fridge and microwave. Front desk and housekeeping staff very friendly, accommodating, professional and they work as a team. Continental breakfast is very impressive, satisfying, presentable and caters to everyone's needs. The pool was just right but it would have been perfect if the water was warmer. There was a small business centre to check your emails. Wish we had taken pictures to show you. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is the best!!!...great for anyone even with children
