I was placed in the back. Very dark and creepy back there with men going in and out of their rooms. I get to my room after dragging my suitcases up the stairs. The key didn’t even work. I go to the front desk. He moved me to the front. Said he was doing me a favor because the room he was giving me was ($14.00) more. Funny thing is. When we got to the room the window was open. Me and my fiancé tried to shut it. It wouldn’t shut. The clerk wouldn’t refund. So I left and went to the Hamptons. NOTE TO SELF AND EVERYONE ELSE. **** JUST STAY AT THE HAMPTONS!!!!

We were grateful for the opportunity to rest, however, the room was basically old and needs to be updated. Attempts at repairs/remodeling were poor for room 106. I did not see any bugs at all and the room and bedding seemed clean but very worn. Had plenty of hot water. The tub, controls, and shower head were great. Bathroom and sink areas had ceiling tiles that were in poor condition. Bathroom tile work was rough. Wall work was not done well. Breakfast (continental) was not enticing. For me, I hope for better at a $76 rate tax. The appliances worked well. The mattress was okay but a little on the firm side (personal preference). The host at the desk was very nice. I did not make any requests of the staff, so, nothing to add. McDonalds right next door. Walmart and other restaurants 5 miles away. Very close to the interstate. Check in and out went smoothly. Though everything worked well, I would have to say I was dissappointed in the condition of the room for the money they charged. Thank you.

Overall it was a good stay. The room was clean, could stand to be updated, but it was suitable. Was close to Betty's Big Country Dance Hall which was where we were going. Plenty of places to eat all around.
