So the checkin lady was very pleasant. That being said that is the only thing that was good about this place. My room smelled like Marijuana. That cant be controlled and the lady offered to move me upstairs. I declined and she gave me some air freshner. I only complained because it was a nonsmoking room and i didnt want to be charged for it being smoked in or around it. I should of took the offer it but i was exhausted from packing up my house into a trailer and driving 7 hours. I then went and unpacked to get a bath and use the restroom. After undressing i noticed a hole above the toilet! I felt very uncomfortable but was already undressed. I went to get a shower 11p at night and just closed the shower curtain away from the hole and the pipes were so loud i didnt because it caused so much noise it would bother my neighbors. I went to tell the front desk this morning and the man was explaining to me how the hole got there. I was trying to explain as a human how a hole directly above a toilet would make somwone feel. I didnt even get to tell him about the pipes being so loud. They should never have used that room if there was a room avail somewhere else! I have pics and video of it

Thanks Ms. Vick for your time to put review. I am sorry for your dissatisfaction. I tried to explain you but you said I am favoring and protecting me that I am right. No. I told you that there was a bulging on ceiling in bathroom and looks like some leakage. Contractor came and to confirm he just made a small hole to check any water comes out or not. We want to wait couple of days for leakage before pathing the hole.I understand your concern about privacy.You complained about pipe makes so much noice that it bothers your neighbors. None of the guest from both side of your room complained even today also. I also didn't hear any noice from pipe. So which pipe you are talking I don't know.Again I am apologizing for your discomfort and inconvenience.

You get what you pay for

Pros: nothing
Cons: Freshen up the rooms with flooring instead of carpet, change the bed spreads and a nice coat of paint in the rooms would make it better.
Location: I only went for the USM Homecoming gameday experience.
It was a quick visit so I was looking for cheap and I got it. The room smelled musty, the TV didnt work right, the bedspread had cigarette burns on it.

Located on the main entrance to hattiesburg, centrally located, and convenient to dwontown.

Pros: Free breakfast, Quiet
I enjoyed the motel very much. The staff was very corteous and helpful. I will probably stay there again on my way to Pensacola.

Super 8 stay Feb. , 2010

This was apparently the last hotel room in Hattiesburg available for rent for the night of Feb. 4, 2010, as the soldiers at Camp Shelby, MS were preparing to leave for Iraq the next day. The room was a smoking room, and the smell would have knocked you down! The linens on the beds were very worn, the blankets had cigarette burns in them, and the mattresses were so thin that it made for a very uncomfortable night of sleeping. The bathroom was so tiny that the toilet was literally touching the bathtub, and forget about closing the door for privacy...that was nearly impossible. The towels were thin and worn as well. Overall, this hotel was the worst I have ever stayed in! And I paid almost $* for 1 night! I would not even recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Definitely will never stay there again.
