When we walked through the doors it took our breath away. Every little detail was gorgeous. The staff was excellent and our room was spotless. We had breakfast in the restaurant it was so yummy, counting the days until we can visit this resort in the beautiful city of Greenville

The hotel was nice, a lot of walking traffic in from the street almost not enough seating areas for a big crowd. It was clean, the beds, pillows, sheets and blankets were just OK. I was hoping they would be more plush and comfortable. The mattresses were firm. The pillows were average. The walls are very thin. We had a family with a baby next to us who cried all night, and we could hear them very clearly all night. Our view was pretty, nice big windows. Restaurant is pretty and good food. Lobby feels commercial, I was hoping for a more cozy feel.

The hotel itself is nice. The rooms are just average for the price point. The biggest issue is housekeeping. We hung a sign on our door for service everyday at 10am. One day we only had our bed made and our trash taken out. They left us with no toilet paper, coffee or facial tissues. The next day our sign was completely ignored and not our room was not serviced at all. When we returned around 3pm we were made to wait 1 hour until the room was serviced. Very inconvenient as we had plans for dinner at 6pm and wanted to rest up and shower before our reservations. Nice hotel, just not sure they have worked out all the kinks yet. I do have to mention that the front desk staff were all very pleasant and went out of their way to try and accommodate us, especially Kwame and one of the managers, her name began with an S, but I cannot remember her full name.

Woke up at around 6AM to what sounded like pallets being thrown and stacked for about 20 minutes along with some other general construction noise (garbage trucks and loud dumpster banging and moving).... that was not appropriate for 6AM outside our room.
