Fort Meyers Beaxh is recovering from Ian, but there was so much destruction. The staff were attentive to our needs and apologized for the ongoing construction. It did not impact our stay. As far as we were concerned it was part of the recovery. Everyone was so gracious and welcoming to have people coming back to the area. We are ready to go back again!

Nice view of and easy access to beach; convenient to local bars and eateries but far enough down the street to be quiet. Room was clean; in-room washer/dryer was nice (didn't use it but would have in a longer stay). Staff are friendly and polite. Elevator is broken so our room was a 3rd-floor walkup; we are in our 60s with mobility issues so we wish we would have known this before we arrived (dragging heavy luggage up 3 flights wasn't fun). Hotel (and entire Ft. Myers Beach area) is still rebuilding after Hurricane Ian, and is still a work in progress; hope they (and all local businesses and homes) can restore themselves to their former glory very soon.
