Great location, service and atmosphere. Not a franchise hotel, but one with old world feel. They upgraded our room and everything went great. Our room was beautiful, very clean and the shower had great pressure and drainage. We slept very well. Tons of dining and take out options, right on the bus route and two blocks from the metro station where three lines take you anywhere: National Mall, Capitol and airport. One of our best travel experiences.

The staff were all very friendly and the property while a bit dated was very clean. Its location is next to a couple universities and it felt very safe. It wasn’t super close to a lot of attractions so my fiancée and I opted to get Ubers back and forth. Trying to find parking in the area was a challenge so after a few attempts we decided to use the valet, which was completely overpriced. Overall we liked the property and would definitely stay again.
