booked a 1 bedroom for my husband and I for our anniversary. When I arrived at the property there were no 1 bedrooms available or even a 2 bedroom. MY husband has difficulty sleeping and twitches, so a 1 bedroom is necessary for us. The front desk clerk asked if a studio was ok, well I didn't have much choice in the matter, did I? She said she would give me a discount since I would be in a different room. It was a $7 discount! Which was given to me with my deposit which was fully returned, so no discount received. I did look at Travelocity later, for the same night mind you and the rate was $89. I was not thrilled with this revelation.
Later on that night when we were going to bed I needed to start my night by sleeping on the sofa bed. I searched that room top to bottom and there were no sheets or blankets for the sofa bed. Thank goodness I brought our coats in because that is what I used to cover myself up.
When I tried to contact Marriott customer service they said to refer back to Travelocity. They just passed me off. I will never stay at anouth Towneplace.
