This two bedroom charming 1930’s brick bungalow is one of the few legally permitted short term rentals in Golden Compliant with Golden's Tourist Home ordinance operating under City of Golden Permit SPEC2019-0012. Recently remodeled kitchen. Large great room with cozy fireplace and deck with grill is perfect for a staycation, remote work alternative, family gatherings, viewing the local colleges, visiting parents and grandparents or just home away from home.

The upstairs is a ranch floor plan with everything on one level. There's a sofa bed in the front parlor room and a sofa bed in the family room so the home can comfortably sleep 8.
The large dining table in the great room is perfect for family meals cooked in the mountain modern and fully equipped kitchen. (Includes spices and basics but not your groceries). Just off the great room is a private deck overlooking the foothills to the west and you can see the Colorado School of Mines "M" from the deck and great room. Many guests opt to have their morning coffee or evening conversations and casual meals on the peaceful deck.
Check in via lockbox on the front door. Guests enter through the front (Blue) door and have the entire upper level and the backyard deck with Barbeque Grill in the fenced backyard. Parking for 3 cars in front of and along the side of the house, no parking on the driveway down to the left which is used by the neighbors below. We respect our guests privacy but live a few miles away in case guests have any needs, questions or problems during their stay. We do have bus service down the block. That connects to RTD light rail station on the W line at the Jefferson County Courthouse building.
Very Convenient for all the activities in Golden, the Mountains, and Boulder. We have para-sailing, kayaking, hiking, biking, climbing, and even a beach at the Clear Creek Kayak park, museums both indoor and out, Colorado School of Mines, Mountaineering Center, Miners Alley Playhouse, a quaint downtown with shopping, bars and restaurants. Most things are open at least partially now and everybody is being careful to control transmission of coronavirus but many people are opting for outdoor activities in the mountains and trails surrounding Golden and cooking and eating their own meals at home.

We generally meet our guests to answer any questions at check in but there is also a key in a lockbox on the front door for you to arrive later in the evening. We respect our guests privacy and live a few miles away in case guests have any needs, questions or problems during their stay.

It's a neighborhood with mostly older single family homes/duplexes but right next to downtown. Very Convenient for all the activities in Golden and Boulder. We have para-sailing, kayaking, hiking, biking, climbing, and even a beach at the Clear Creek Kayak park. Concerts and events all summer long, museums both indoor and out, The Colorado School of Mines, Mountaineering Center, Miners Alley Playhouse, movies, shopping, bars and restaurants, it's very easy to get to the mountains on I-70 and all areas of the Denver Metro Area. It's really just a cool town to be in.

The building is very well insulated for noise so the below guests don't hear anything except heavy walking on the hardwood floors.
