Suite rooms pictures misleading Receptionist bad
Starting from Airport pickup - despite multiple phone calls to hotel ahead of arrival, the driver arrived 3 hours early. We told him to come at 11:30 am IST as we were waiting for our parent's flight to arrive. Receptionist didnt convey this to the driver and he was waiting at IGI from 8:30 am.We Booked 2 Allure Suites based on the pictures on the website. When we reached hotel, the suites were nowhere near the pictures. They were dark and damp. They dont face on the front side of the building. They are built inward facing which makes them dark. When I booked , I mentioned that I want a room which is well lit with natural light . The hotel receptionist Roshmita offered us double room instead of suite which was on first floor and third floor and faced to the front. When we said yes to be downgraded , she said 3rd floor room is not available. Then we were shown 3 rooms but none of them was well lit and upto the mark. We had to finally settle for a side facing room on 3rd floor . Next was the bed , it was small for three people and when we asked for extra single bed, she said it will cost us extra. It was a horrible experience with multiple viewings and downgrading from suite to a room which too didnt give us a experience we were expecting. Hotel staff needs to improve on respecting their words when they offer something.Also they should respect the drivers who make so much effort to do airport transfers.Breakfast in the morning was good . I wished I booked Lalit at same cost
