Right next to the airport

Pros: It was comfortable and attractive enough, and had a certain quirky character that I found pleasant and congenial.
Cons: It'd be hard for the hotel to control its noisy guests. The bar/buffet area could be a bit snazzier, I suppose.
Location: Best thing to do in the immediate vicinity is catch a plane. It might serve as a base for trips to various spots around Costa Brava.
We had a 6:30 am flight out of Girona-Costa Brava. The choices: taking a 3 am bus from Barcelona, or arriving the evening before and getting some rest in a hotel. If we were still 20-something party animals, we'd've gone for the first option, but instead we took the second. I found the place to be very pleasant and comfortable, but my wife couldn't sleep because some guests were running around all night, slamming doors and hollering. If not for that, it would've been just about perfect for us.
