I hate leaving bad reviews, but I have to. Read my details and see what you think.
When we got there, we found our door wouldn't lock, even when deadbolted. The deskperson acted surprised, but since they offered to open our door, I am convinced they knew. All they could offer us, literally, was a stick. They said they had no other rooms, despite offering me a $70 upgrade minutes earlier.
The dresser was missing a drawer, and badly scuffed. The covering on the desk was warped and bubbling. The shower was dirty, and even had a hair in it. I used the bathroom in the middle of the night, and when I went to wash my hands, there were 2 bugs in the sink.
The WiFi was spotty, and the TV hadn't been setup or connected to the WiFi. We connected the TV to the WiFi ourselves, only to have the TV then ask for our email address to enable Roku, so no TV and maybe 1 or 2 local channels. They brought us a Roku remote without being asked, so I assume they also knew our room was missing one (or they got someone elses request confused). There were missing faceplates on electrical outlets as well.
I did take a shower, when I noticed how dirty it was. All I can say is that the water was hot.
I've past this hotel for many years, going on road trips up route 7, and it was an ideal location and price, but honestly was a bit of a nightmare to stay in. I won't return, unless I see a slew of 'what an improvement' reviews.
It's a real shame.
