I liked the location. Staffs were polite & helpful. There are good bars & restaurants in walking distance.I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Breakfast is good. Restaurant is clean but need to update the main kitchen appliances.

I had booked reserve now pay later option through Expedia. But I was surprised that the hotel tried to charge my credit card even before I landed in Sri Lanka. Fortunately the card company didn't;t process the payment. However, the hotel insisted on me paying the full amount (10 days) during check in. The hotel is more interested in charging everything than on providing guest services. The breakfast which charges USD 10 is unimaginative and poor services. If not for the location surrounded by restaurants and pubs, I wouldn't suggest this hotel

STAY AT FAIRWAY HOTEL
THE HOTEL IS SITUATED IN A VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION. ROOMS ARE VERY NEAT AND CLEAN. ALL THE STAFF FROM LOWEST TO HIGHEST ATE VERY DECENT WELL MANNERED AND WILLING TO HELP. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY. BUT.... THE BREAKFAST FOR ROOMS BOOKED ONLINE WAS SEPARATE ON THE TERRACE AND IT WAS TERRIBLE. NO VARIETY. IMPROVEMENT NEEDED.

All in all a great place to stay and located well for Galle Face. My family are Sri Lankan and what struck me was the ridiculous prices for Tuk Tuks outside the hotel, one offered a ride for 1,000 rupees, but reduced to 800 when i laughed. The ride if you walked to the main road and grabbed one would be 300 to 500. So that annoyed me. The food choice for breakfast was somewhat disappointing. They do not serve full English or even half English. The hotel itself is pretty basic, very clean and the staff will go out of there way for you, which is why i rate them so highly. It was a much lower cost alternative to the major hotels in Galle Face, but I am glad we stayed here and I would stay again. Well located to access the Galle Face Mall and all it has to offer, 15 mins walk or 15 minutes my Tuk Tuk. The hotel is tightly packed in between a plethora of buildings and can be difficult to find on the little one way single car streets, but s said it is in a great location.

Great economical stay in Central Colombo
Had a good short stay at The Fairway with the family. Hotel is very centrally located in Colombo. So, quite convenient. Breakfast was included, but don’t expect the typical buffet you will find in other hotels here. The hotel is good for short, economical stays within a budget.
