We got there and they advised there was a plumbing problem and not to flush toilets until we got the all clear. We left for our show and our door would close all the way so it wouldn’t lock. They stored our luggage and asked if it was ok to just get a different room when we got back. When we got back it took another 25 min to get a key because the system wouldn’t generate a key. They did give us 2 separate $12 breakfast vouchers for the next morning which was nice. We went out to the parking garage next door the following morning and our car window was smashed in along with several other cars.

Really good looking hotel with lots of potential in a great area of town. But it had thin walls so the mornings were louder than desired (from movement inside the hotel, not outside), and valet took too long during peak hours.

First stay at the Kinley
Typically when we stay at a hotel there are many small issues which accumulate into a frustrating experience. Not at the Kinley. Everything was right during our stay which allowed us to enjoy the experience. This was our first stay at the Kinley and looking forward to returning. The staff were really great! Thank you.

Shower was amazing but the water didn’t get hot enough. The bathroom door didn’t shut all the way so there was no privacy, the bed was uncomfortable for my husband and myself but we both have bad backs, we could hear both of our neighbors

Potential but not quite meeting it…
Limited staff. Limited bar menu was only opportunity to get food in the evening with no formal room service set up since there weren’t enough people to deliver it. Room was clean, modern and quite pretty but pillows were overstuffed, lumpy and hard and sheets were scratchy. Blackout curtains didn’t fully close either. When I had breakfast the next morning in the adjacent cafe, the coffee was terrible, and the service was as well. I was also charged not once but twice for internet. Overall this place has potential but they need to hire more people and professionalize the staff in order to elevate this hotel to a higher level. Neighborhood felt a bit fringe as well.
