The Doctor's Cottage is located on a historic property that was originally developed in 1788 as a tavern/inn, and served as a center for regional travel, mail, and voting during America’s early days. Distinguished figures including Marquis de Lafayette stopped at the tavern on their way to visit Thomas Jefferson at Monticello. At one point, The Doctor's Cottage was the office for the doctor who resided at the property's main house. It has since been updated and expanded to serve as a luxurious and attractive guest house. With views of Montalto towards Monticello, this is the perfect location for a relaxing and getaway.
