Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Share your back yard with a friendly farm rescues that call our barn home. Minutes from restaurants of Carrboro and downtown Chapel Hill are surrounded by nature and pastures. Take work breaks with donkeys, chickens, and goats! Fire-pit. Off-leash fenced creek path. A short walk to Anderson Park (dog park, tennis, basketball, and playground). Love nature from a distance? Read in the front porch rockers or swing on the porch swing of our 1927 farm cottage and listen to the frogs and owls as the moon rises over the forest. Interior photos are coming soon (it is being newly painted and getting new beds as I type this May 10!)

Amazing pet-friendly farmhouse on the edge of town
This idyllic rental is just minutes away from everything you want/need to do in the Chapel Hill metro area, yet nicely tucked away ON A FARM! The hosts are the only neighbors and were respectful of our privacy while also welcoming us to assist with a variety of "chores". We even had the rare opprtunity to help harvest honey!! Our "Triangle" area family really enjoyed petting and feeding the resident animals. There were food/water bowls provided for our dog and a specific towel for drying off wet paws post walkie and off-leash exploration in a fenced area along the creek just down the road. What a great home away from home!!

Farm stay
We were a last minute booking, catching up with our son before our journey back home to Australia. Betsy the host was very accommodating and communication was great. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, including a brand new king sized mattress We had a fabulous stay and loved all the animals and wildlife. Good walks close by and we even managed to walk into Carrboro for coffee. My son’s Aussie Shepherd stayed with us too and was very welcome. Will definitely stay again if we get the chance. Thanks Betsy.
